After 2 papers

Had my first two papers yesterday. What a very long day.

6.30am - woke up painfully
7.30am - left the house sleepily
7.45am - only board the late bus
7.50 - 8.15am - almost die of suffocation in the train (why so many ppl? becos i took the to-PasirRis train)
8.15-8.30am - waited for buses again (bad traffic)
8.30-8.50am - apologized to huiling n babe for being late in the crawling bus
8.50-8.58am - crawling shuttle bus
9.00 am - just in time to sit down n write my matric no n the paper starts!
11.00 am - noticed i had many questions wrong
11.30-12.30 - lunch peacefully with friends
12.40 - 2.00pm - had a bet with babe that we do not talk while we study [at mac] (and we did it!)
2.00 - 4.30pm - living zombie
4.45 - 5.00pm - gossip with huimin, eddie n edwin abt the coming paper
5.00 - 6.00pm - relieved i can cope with about 4/7 of the qns
6.00 - 7.00pm - fascinated with why ah tiongs can finish so quickly n left
7.00 - 7.15pm - went to AS4 to collect my jap assignments, alone, and realised how scary nus can be at night
7.20 - 7.45pm - staring into air while making my way to meet pea at clementi ctrl stat
7.50 - 8.30pm - chit-chat all the way to wdl
8.45 - 9.15pm - settled ourselves happily for a nice dinner at ichiban boshi
9.15 - 9.30pm - went to pop
9.30 - 9.45pm - staring into space in bus
9.50pm ~ home n online-ing

Anw, i received pillow's new clothing yesterday too~! Plus a cheque book from OUB since i made an account the other day. i doubt i would ever use it.

Piano lessons getting harder as usual..

Quite a nice song actually, if I can play it smooth la.. I wan to practice on a real piano...

Anw, my piano teacher will be going on a maternity leave from July. Wonder how lessons will be in the near future. Somemore, she wants to upgrade me to grade 2, but that would be 45 mins, and she did not have enough slots on her schedule. Hmm.. Dunno how too~

Does anyone still remember this movie? [ Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain ]

It's a French movie about a painfully shy waitress who decides to change the lives of those around her for the better, while struggling with her own isolation.

Found the movie's theme song recently. Comptine D'un Autre Été: L'après-midi, a piano piece composed by Yann Tiersen. Very nice song. Listen from the playlist~! XD

暑い日

What a hot day.

Grew my love for Glenn Gould's works. He's the Canadian pianist who played the piano pieces used in Nodame Cantabile's OST albums. Tried looking for his album, and I found a torrent of his albums which include works by Bach, Beethoven and Haydn. 2.2GB! and there are no seeders currently. So my download stopped at 3.1%. Maybe I will get to listen to his complete album by Christmas.

I'm looking for ピアノの森's movie OST too. So far, only released in Japan, and it cost USD50 plus. So ex!! Nowhere to get the album yet.

Two more days to my first paper!! Hmmph...

So looking forward to the holidays.

一半希望时间过慢一点，因为我现在还没信心上考场。一半期待一切快点过去。人生就是常常有这种矛盾的时候。

Happy 20th Birthday to my 妹妹 xuehui!
Happy 21st Birthday to Peixi!

Went to the surprise party for my sis yesterday.

Met up with pea, weiling, her sis, wennie, weiting n yengsiew at TPY to take a bus to the teaparty.
Long time never meet up them le. It has been... 3 to 4 years at least??

Was a long bus ride there. When we finally reached, yeeting came soon after and we went in. The teaparty resembled settler's cafe/mind's cafe/pitstop cafe.. Friends of XH's boyfriend were already there with the decorations. We gathered together to sit, and some funny "speed-dating-alike" activity occurred becos of a particular guy. Anw, the girls talked among themselves n the guys do their own stuff. I think the whole activity resembled orientation.

Light sticks, poppers... we did some catching up before xh n her boyfriend arrived. When they did, everyone was supposed to "pop" the poppers. XH looked very dazed and puzzled. Her best friend was here as well, and she was also very surprised to see her gang plus pea n me. Her bf had told her that they would have a dinner with just the two of them.

Quick cake-cutting ceremony. Food took quite a long time to arrive. Wennie, pea n me coined the term "脆鱼". Think 6 of us ordered that. Soon, tianhui, julie n cherie came. Long time no see as well. Took some photos here n there.. Talked a bit.. Opening of presents.. n it was time to go home. Everyone lived in woodlands, so we took a direct bus back.

Hope XH had a happy and memorable nite yesterday.

Tianhui offered to send me home as well, so got to see his parents n his brother (since such a long time!) A lot has changed, and a lot remains. Ha. Felt so different, yet so familiar. Weird rite? XD

Heard from them that they tried applying to uni (they graduated from poly).. n some of them are coming to nus :) hope to see them in school~!

Mugging Day

Woke up super early this morning. Near 7am. Because it was Pea's birthday.

No la. XD

Met up with Pea to STUDY!

Yeah. Early in the morning. So early that the window of my bus is still decorated with mist and dew drops. And there was hardly any vehicles visible on the road. And hardly any sign of humans in the pasam malam. In fact, I love morning. 这种人烟稀少的清静早晨。

Had Mac for breakfast. I think it had been some time since I ate Mac. I was eating Big Breakfast, and I suddenly didn't know how to start.
*need to open up the plastic packet and spread the jam on the bread etc..

After the breakfast, went to UOB Bank to start a new account. Was a campus account. Anw, only free till I graduate.

After that, went to DBS Bank with pea to get a cheque to pay for her chalet exceeded air-con fee.

And it was STUDY TIME!

I tried cheering Pea up as it was a nice morning and her birthday, you see.. But to no avail.

So chit-chat awhile. Took some pics.....


And it was time to MUG. All the way till 1pm plus??

So nice of him! Received an "Exam wellness pack" from him. XD
Inside, was a baby banana, to carbo our brain juice.. One chocolate marshmallow (he knew I love chocolates!).. and one unidentified food/snack/clump. LOL.

With that, came a sweet note from him.

Went on to the cafe and we bought food to share. Chicken chunks.. Potato wedges.. and two cups of unhealthily sweet Mocha Latte. What a messy table.

Had a real fun time talking with them and studying together. Discussed about our LOTR concert.. what to do.. where to go.. stay overnight at one of our house.. Go for buffet.. maybe lunch at settler's.. or have high tea.. or go singapore flyer.. or sing k.. or play bowling.. or watch LOTR. lol.

Discussed about our redang trip.. I wanna work out from now to obtain a svelte figure cos i wanna wear bikini. I wanna be a beach-babe. But that was on a condition that i obtained a svelte figure first. haha.

So many things to look forward to! Can't wait for the exams to end!!!
Sec school K-box gathering... Alan's birthday.. LOTR concert.. Redang trip.. Taiwan trip.. Gatherings with babe n laoda.. Tons of games to play..

Before that, exams first. Hanming left awhile later cos he had tuition.. so it was another round of mugging.

Anw, this was pea's puma sweater. Nice rite?


Studied until evening... both of us were dead beat. so we decided to call it a day and time to get a present for my 妹妹. It will be her birthday tml, so her classmates and us will be going to throw her a surprise party tml nite.

Took a long time to decide what to buy for her. We finalised a bear from a toy shop, and a customized wrapping of the bear at Cards n Such. Plus a nice handphone pouch.
Very sweet rite? XD

Settled, we went to pastamania for dinner..
Pea got herself some clam-with-sotong-with-prawn-tomato-based-fusili (i forgot the name of the dish). XD
And i got myself a "Spicy Portobello"..

The dish included many portobello mushrooms (to me, it tasted like 大香菇).. and i love the mushrooms cos they're real chewy and fragrant. XD

Still, I prefer Pasta de waraku's pastas.. XD Long time never eat already.. After exams? :)

PoP pop POP!!

你有没有看过Popcorn "Pop"?

Was waiting for bus to get home earlier on.. There was a stretch of pasam malam beside the bus stop, and the stall directly next to the busstop was a Candy Stall. Didn't notice what was happening at first, only when I saw a family of three looking at a direction with an 'interesting' look. The kid with them was sitting in a pram n she was looking up and suddenly, I heard "Pops"..

There was this popcorn making machine ( the kind u saw in fun fairs). There were two lids on a metal can hanging in the middle of the machine (on air), one on each side, and the lids were pushed up by the popcorns forming below.. Those that pushed the lids, were soon pushed by the inner popcorns as well, and so clots of popcorns fell out of the metal can and they made "pop" sounds. I admit i was amazed.

The family of three were amazed too. Soon, the "explosive extravaganza" ended and the lady selling popcorns used a tool to scoop out the remaining popcorns in the can. Quickly, she refilled the can with a cup of oil, and a cup of what I took as flour-like substance, and another cup of bead-like substance.. So, Oil + Flour-like substance + Bead-like substance = Popcorn

It was the first time I was glad my bus was late. I wanted to witness another extravaganza. In a few minutes time, another round of little yellow pops or corns oozed out of the metal can and a cheerful pile had collected at the base of the machine. Okay, I never really saw how popcorns "pop" in my entire "close-to-21 year" life. So please bear with my excited-ness. I wonder will I still stare at the popping process given the chance next time.

Exams are round the corner! But after the secondlife tut class with Huiling n babe today, I went to meet up alan at science to go esplanade@lib. Finally got our chance to utilize our *Premium* account. We borrowed some scores and after touring the library today, noticed that there really contain a huge collection of multimedia, especially DVDs. Exams' finished, I wanna go there rent more vids. Don't want go videoezy liao. I paid my fine from my card today. $12!! Why I can owe the library so much overdue fine?! So scary.

After that, went to have a sakae buffet and binge ourselves. XD Whole sem so stress, today is the day to eat as much as you can, before we embark our voyage to the exams. Eat and talk. Really had a great time. =)

“择偶条件”

最近身边发生了一些事。就在这里写写吧。

以前，我总是觉得每个人都有所谓的“择偶条件”。某人一定要fulfill你全部的criteria，你才有可能喜欢他。事实是这样的吗？

最近也有人问我，我的择偶条件是什么。我顿时发现我没有办法回答他。只能说：“至少要比我高吧。”接下来的问题：“比你高多少？”我只能说：“....有明显高过我就可以了吧。” 天晓得，这是择偶条件吗？？

也许这样还说不上什么。但是如果我说：“他一定要高、最好180cm以上、会音乐、会玩球、爱狗、体育项目样样皆能、聪明、善谈、等等。。。” 仔细一想，这不是择偶条件。这是对你自己的伴侣的期望。如果某某人能达成所有，那该有多好。就算有人达成全部条件，但自己看不上眼，或没有感觉，那还能算什么？肤浅。就算有个人能达成所有条件，和你合不来、或是品格不好又有什么用？自讨苦吃。

更何况，喜欢一个人不需要理由。你已经定下了那么多条件，制造那么多喜欢的理由，难道就会更快乐吗？如果简单一点，我想说：“因为我喜欢和他在一起。” 不是因为他会这个、他会那个。现实生活里，就是常常会喜欢上自己所设下的择偶条件以外的人。证据：想想自己喜欢过谁，他们的异同之处，和现在所定的择偶条件，一定都不一样。口味也会常常改变，这还能说是择偶条件吗？事实就是很多人最后喜欢上意想不到的人。可惜的是，有时自己喜欢了也不知道。

总的来说，有时很羡慕不发达的小村庄。那里有简简单单的梦想、有甜美清纯的爱情。不知道那么多也是一种幸福吧。选择太多、想太多、烦太多，也是无济于事。感情这种事也许真的很难纸上谈兵。细细体会过程也许不错吧。只要在一起相处的时候快乐，何乐而不为？ XD

Pamo's Big Day

My first A+~~!!

So happy~! XD Got back my chi assignment/project.. the one which I let everyone help me do survey.. the one which i spent so much time on.. the one which i work w HuM n RL.. the one which we have to do an extra presentation.. and turns out, we got an A+! I was practically grinning the whole day yesterday. XD

Also had my jap oral feedback ytdy, with hamasaki sensei. We had two parts actually, but for Hama's part, he feedbacked "your conversation was smooth, and no major grammatical mistakes, and you managed to correct the mistakes yourself.. it was.. hmm.. Good!" XD I peeped his marking scheme.. from a range from 1 to 5.. think he circled mostly/all "5". :D

Ha.. few days ago, Pam had her happiest night. Her 21st Birthday Party, at Fairy Point Bungalow 1.. (Photos at my spaces)

Shall try writing wat i can recap from the day.

Met up with HM, SH and Pam at wdl mart for lunch that day. HM was supposed to meet me up first to decorate the bday board n stuff before meetin pam, but pam came along. So we went to my hse after the lunch and a funny conversation occurred.

HM gave me the empty corkboard n we were supposed to cut out the shiny pink cardboard to decorate on the board. (Our main purpose for the decoration meeting up)

SH: "What is this for?"
Me: "We didnt buy a bday card, so this board, we later will let the guests to write their msgs n pin it on to this board."
(HM n pam taking out the cutters and tapes)
SH: "ooh.. good idea."
Me: "ya." (taking the board from SH)
SH: "Den 好 liao lor. 收起来lor"
Me + HM + Pam: ".............................." (LOL)

Get the joke? XD aaa nvm..

Anw we found that we didnt have much time, so we rushed with the work.. n HM n SH went to get the car, while Pam n me went to buy the last few deco stuff needed.. and off we went.. HM suddenly received a call from WK, YL n MY that they reached the bungalow liao! but we're stil at wdls. It was 2.30pm.

So we kinda rushed there, and when we wanted to go the main office to sign in, we passed by the three of them beside the road. So, we squeezed into HM's car. XD SH n me at the front seat.. Pam, YL, WK, MY at the back seat.. n HM at the driver's seat.. After signing in.. we went to the bungalow.. n it looked very dark n ulu..

The first thing we did is to blast the house with music and light up the house as much as possible with the opened windows. XD Next, we started with the decorations.. The guys pinned up the banners.. Pam warming up the food n drinks n preparing the utensils.. SH helped me with the decorations.. n everyone sat down to blow balloons.. Awhile later, Ahyan came.. her dad drove her here.. took some pics here n there.. den pam's family came.. den the cake came.. den the buffet caterer came... XD

After that, SW came.. n very soon, PX n CH came.. n many many pam's relatives came.. A while later, my family oso came.. den Hf and his gf came.. haha.. so suddenly.. still rmbred pam was bathing n sudd so many ppl came.. i think it was the first time she bathed so quickly.. cos she usually needs an hr.. duno wat she doing inside.. can spent such a long time.. aa.. haha this is nt the main thing here.. XD

Awhile later, babe came, so i went to the main road to fetch her.. n met Huang n Pam2 as well.. The buffet started.. n everyone was eating liao.. so babe n me cursed al for being late XD.. cos we want to wait for him to eat.. Soon after, Al came.. n we went to the main road to fetch him, and saw pam's fren again.. haha.. the house suddenly so crowded n packed w ppl.. so we ate.. n sudd, Fr oso came.. n px, ch n fr came to tok with al n hj.. Quite messy actually.. everything happened so fast.. jus noe we tok n laugh n took pics n the whole house was bustling w ppl..

Ard night time, SHy came with her bf, n soon after, the cake cutting started. 3 cameras positioned to capture every moment.. ha.. Pam very glamourous that day.. haha.. so many cameras flashing at her.. n she took pics with her family, relatives, sec sch frens, jc frens, nus frens, sim frens, my family.. den when the candles almost finished, we den sing the happy birthday song to her.. haha.. den she made a wish (which she said later on that she duno wat she wished for, jus act a pose XD ).. n she cut her cake~! den sudd everybody duno disappear until where.. lol.. but each of us had a HUGE piece of cake.

*aaaa.. Disconnection.. wat i typed later on ALL gone.. aa nvm..

Anw, was glad that many of my frens made frens with many of my frens XD (sounds weird but u know wat i mean la XD) ha.. so, slowly the guests start to leave one by one.. n the few of us who stayed watched pam open her presents.. hope she love it! the presents do look great XD It was time for us to leave.. sigh.. as al n me kept complaining.. WHY TML GOT TEST? IF NOT WE CAN STAY AS WELL..

So ah yan stayed to accompany pamo n her family for the night.. n we made our way home.. Hope pamo had a memorable night!

Tired Tired

I am superbly tired this sem. No idea why actually. I found myself sleeping in trains instead of reading. So tired yesterday, I noticed I can sleep anywhere. Even when I am standing in a packed train.

Finally submitted all assignments for the sem. Now is "Ora-ru Testo no Juun Bi" (Preparation for Oral Test).. Now is already Saturday. Had too much of a TGIF.. Went to buy Pamo's Bday present w HM ytdy at Bugis.. Wa.. Spent a lot of time thinking of what to buy. and We were troubled becos we had too much money! LOL. Many people shared and so we're close to 200 bucks to decide what to buy.

Went back to Pop@central to buy some stationary-artsy stuff to prepare for the deco. Wanna make a nice-y DIY this sunday. Pamo spent so much for her BIG DAY's night, so need to help her make it more BIG~!

Haven prac piano for monday's lesson~! O.O

Last week of school. So FAST!

How's April?

I finally hit 2944 words out of the 3000 words min. essay for the chi grammar assignment. It's the first time I do an essay do until so "blood-vomit-inducive". I duno how to do the assignment la! It's like asking you... Please write an essay of "Addition means adding", for 3000 words. It's too technical, and there's nothing to argue about. All I can do is take everything, all the points and concepts, and vomit back to the lecturer.

Like this will fail or not? Sigh..... Gotta submit the paper by this friday. I think I should just start to crap my conclusion now and start to panic for the upcoming jap oral test, and the final exams that's looming around the corner.

The heaviest project of the sem that I happily submitted a few weeks ago, now requires a presentation on this week's tutorial, 8am. !@#$%^&*. It was decided from a so called "democratic voting", as coined from someone's fren, from the class. And half the votes from the class wanted the presentation. Or I should, say, half the class don't want the presentation. The other half is most probably still sleeping since it's an 8am class. I don't see why anyone will want to have a presentation. You need to prepare extra stuff, and you need to be very clear-minded about your project, and the presentation will share the weightage with your written assignment. Other than that, you will have an extra lesson (optional though), to compensate for the loss of time for these presentations.

We had three classes in total, so our class was a 50-50. Heard from a fren from another class, the vote was: only one person want the presentation. What about the last class?? Everyone want mei? Like this, in overall, still 50-50 ah. So, i think it's the lecturer who wants the presentation. Cos there wasn't enough time for her to carefully read thru all the essays one by one. Then democratic voting for wat?

Met up with babe HJ for a nice afternoon lunch at Holland V last friday. We shared the famous nasi lemak, and did some weekly catching up as usual. Ha. The place brought back some memories though. We kept saying, "Do you still remember that time when we all were still friends and we came here.... then we had a class after that... then it was raining, we shared cab back to school..." It was in year 1 sem 2. We were still so fresh and "naive" and we once so treasured each other's company. Anw, life must move on. Two of the four came back for a lunch and reminisced.

After the nasi lemak, we went to browhaus for babe's first threading. The effect was nice! =D Babe really looked so refreshed and "new" these days. New clothes, new hairstyle, new lifestyle, new HER. Great. Looking at her made me realize how much I had neglected myself these days. All I did was facing the comp until the day was over. I want a CHANGE too! Can't wait for the holidays to come and I want to engage in more new/exciting activities. Wanna sign up for some photo-taking courses, go on trips, utilize my new cam fully, and blog more Happy stuff here. Before that, old yellow seed needs to rush her assignments.

Went to Provenance after that, and we had a nice "tea session". Muahaha.. I love coffee! Can't live a day without coffee! Don't call me "Kopi-soh", maybe something more "hip", like "Mocca-chic", or "Caffeine-Gal", or "Latte-va" (La-Diva) will do? Had my favorite chocolate roll and shared a nice salmon/tuna sandwich with babe.. really is.. 幸せだった！

Next Sunday is Pam's BIG DAY! will try to help her out as much as possible.. So hard to organize such a big event huh.. Heard from pam, her bungalow very "ulu".. Must buy more deco and stuff to help brighten up the place too.. Before that, the neglected seed needs to try to finish her assignments by today.

Bought the tix to the concert "The Lord of the Rings Symphony: Six Movements for Orchestra, Chorus and Soloists"on 5th Jun, at Esplanade's Concert Hall~!
