It's been a busy and tiring week. But i'm Happy~* ( ´ ▽ ` )
First, Monday was Deepavali. Thanks to the Indians, students of Sg are freed from a day's suffering in school. and I am freed from Beijing prof's lecture. Had my day to work on my chi lang n culture assignment.
Tuesday, met up with Avs to go school together for lunch. Funny thing, Avs love arts canteen, but I love engine canteen. So, we ended up in arts canteen instead and I had my usual favorite jap food number 14. XD
Saw CG at the canteen as well. She will be going back to China next week. Anw, CG was a china fren I jus met when I was asking her if she can help me and tam to take a pic in the Deck. She lost her umbrella in the canteen the day before and she thought that the stall vendors do not know how to speak mandarin, so she asked for my help. Seems like a lot of china peeps tot SG'reans do not know how to speak mandarin. Anw, it was very friendly of her to come and talk to us again :)
After the lunch, went to my sci gem lecture. To realize that there is no lecture this week! I tried opening four doors of the lecture hall only to realize there's no one. LOL. Anw, accidentally met ReefJJ there for the first time since he came to NUS. He reallie became quite "niang" lei.. and did i saw him wearing a earring? Went back to central lib instead to meet up babe to study before we had lunch. Was supposed to have my tuition that day as well, but tutee called last min to switch to wed night. So, went back to rush assignments again~
Wed, i was so lazy, I only left the house at 12.45 to attend my 2pm tutorial. Mom went to Msia that day, so I was to settle dinner on my own. Avs accompanied me at the engine canteen for dinner, and we went to his Engine comp lab. for my first time in my life at NUS. Wa!! Their comp labs very nice lor.. so much bigger n better than AS7.. and their labs are at 7th floor.. so you can see a very wonderful seaview of the ports nearby.
Thursday, I was so glad I finished school at 12pm. When most of the students are just arriving to start their school day. XD Went home to rush assignment again~ I love HoCL.. my chi sociolinguistics prof.. he decided to sum up everything by week 12 so we do not have to see him on week 13 anymore.. and he even cancelled our last tutorial~~ "You guys tutorial yourself ba".. He rocks. Edd said next sem take 5 of HoCL's modules.. LOL.
Night, had a very wonderful piano lesson. Now i'm learning a Chopin's song (short extract only), perfecting my Fur Elise, and 2 christmas songs, and 1 grade 2 exam piece~ Finally i can start playing exam pieces~*
Friday~ no sci gem lecture, so I will only have class from 9am to 10am.. Woots~! Best of all, 3 assignments/work to submit today, and I felt so light now~** Will be meeting Babe n HL later on for lunch and study.. and Avs is going to bring me to Bedok for supper tonight~! (*≧▽≦)
Tml oso will be meeting Babe for the Korean opening festival! Thanks babe for inviting me!! and meeting pea for "The Coffin" movie soon~ Pea, jia you for your exams k!! One down today, two more to go!

Flower
Flower - L'Arc-en-Ciel
a song that Avs always sing :)
(because seed needs to become a flower? XD)
Lyrics:
like a flower
flower bloom in sunlight and l live close to you-
Like a flower ~
(flowers bloom in sunlight and I live close to you~)

TaM's 21st
'Twas TaM's 21st Birthday party yesterday~*
I was "cordially invited" (XD) to Tam's BBQ party yesterday, and since I knew no one there, Avs accompanied me. Very sweet of him to make a trip down from Bedok :)
Had a rather tough day drafting out my "chi lang & culture" essay assignment (due this friday). 5000 words~ YX said he spent 3 days of his recess week break to complete the assignment. Oops, i gotta rush le... very soon, the exams are coming too.. I like haven reallie study anything for the exams lor.. sien...
Met up Avs in the evening at Adm station and we took the train to Boon Lay. Avs just went to buy a JLPT2 book from kino as well.. And the stuff inside are so so so difficult. I think what I learnt in Jap5 was reallie not enuff. Anw, still have some time till 7Dec, we should have the time to prepare ba..
Reached Jurong point, we went to Banquet for a proper dinner first before moving on to Tam's party. Took bus 180 and we got LOST! the instructions given like a bit different from what we expected, and so i think we took the bus until somewhere ulu in Bukit batok. Alighted, and took a cab instead. The taxi uncle weird weird one. We told him we wanna go block XX5, he merely nodded. Then when he reached XX5, he refused to stop! he wanted to make a turn around the carpark to blk xx5. Just when he slowly drove around, we actually came to the bbq pit itself, and so we told him to stop, and he seemed very reluctant as well. He wanna earn extra $0.20 lor! That malay taxi uncle very jian4.
Anw, reached the pit, and greeted Tam. The party was full of Tam's friends and relatives, and saw some familiar faces there, but not familiar with them at all. So Avs and me went to a spot among the relatives to sit. Tam's maid was very nice. She served us a lot of drinks, satay, otah, bee hoon, watermelon sliced, etc. I ate a lot of otah again XD Avs brought his psp to show me, so we played a bit while waiting for the cake cutting. :D
Tam got herself a swensen's cake! i think it's called Belgium Chocolate Fudge. Very fudgy, i like! Tam also got a very pro and sincere cameraman (i think is her friend).. :D Can see that Tam was very happy, congrats girl! Happy Birthday again~!! :D

Tam's NUS frenz~After the party, took a bus to JE, and as we were searching for toilet at the JE entertainment centre, i realized that the Fuji Ice and K-box there are closed down already!!! Is JE entertainment centre closing down? Cos most of the shops there are closed, and I think the cinema is gone too... Hmm.. Next time ice-skate, have to go Kallang liao.

Eye Lesson
Have been rather busy lately.. Why is it so rainy these days ah? I am going to get sick. *Choy*
I almost went blind today.
Had my sickening 8am class this morning, so I was forced to wake up with blood-shot eyes and you know, when your eyes are so tired and you put contact lens on them, you're like applying spices on your wound. I can choose to wear specs but I choose to die "pretty-ly".
Right eye felt a tinge of slight pain when I put on the lens, but I was going to be late for class, so I assumed things will just get better on its own.
On the train to school, I wished that I could reach school early cos the "dirt" or whatever stuff in there is really starting to bother my pupil. Blinking is painful.
Reached school, I was lucky enough to be early to get to the toilet. Took off my lens, and I regretted that I have no contact lens solution. So, I did a very stupid and wrong thing. NEVER DO THAT TO YOURSELF!
I watered the lens with tap water.
(you need a rather wet lens to let it stick onto your eye)
And assuming the pH of tap water. It's bloody disastrous to your eye!
So, time is up, I gotta go for class. and I left the toilet feeling more painful than before.
The class was torturing-ly long. I think my eyes got so teary red that A-sensei noticed it when he was asking me a question. I was suffering from morning runny nose and teary eyes and not enough sleep.
The female species are known for their strong ability to bear pain. That was one thing I had felt rather pleased with myself. The lesson ended and I skipped my trip to the canteen to buy food, but to Forum's coop to buy contact lens solution instead. It was still drizzling.
The cashier told me COOP never sell contact lens solution.
When I was thinking of peeling my lens and stamp it on the floor at the spot, she suddenly recalled there was a small optometry shop/section in the coop itself, less than 10 steps away. The shop was like a refuge to me. I suddenly remembered how victims stuck under rubble finally saw daylight.
I went to the shop and there was an uncle reading newspaper leisurely. He looked up and asked if I needed anything. I asked if there were any multi-purpose solution for sale and he pointed to me a trio-pack. I don't need that much, so he reached to a bottle of saline solution from the counter and said, "You got some problems with your eyes? Do you just want to rinse it here?"
I was grateful he suggested that. I washed my hands and lens with the solution and when everything is done, the stinging pain I had beared for the past 2 hrs was merely gone. I felt bad for coming to the shop just to wet his counter (there was no sink). So, I thought of buying a contact lens case, since I really need one. He said it was $2.
and it was then, I realized that I didn't bring my WALLET! Uncle Thomas (i asked for his name) was kind enough to let me take the lens casing for free, and he said I could just drop by anytime I wish to pay him if I want. He even filled the lens casing with some solution in case the problem persists later on. I suddenly feel like worshipping him. "Next time wear specs la", uncle joked. "I see you youngsters always wear contact lens to give yourselves problems."
True, and I suddenly thought that I wasn't the first to seek refuge from him. Anw, I was very lucky things turned out this way. If COOP do sell the solution, I would have died at the cashier counter then. I wouldn't know what I could have used to pay.
Lesson of the Day:
Wallet + Contact Lens solution + Eyes
ARE VERY IMPORTANT!

Load off my head~~*
I finally finished my Beijing prof's tedious-brain-wrecking essay~!!!
Anw, I have printed it out, ready for submission tomorrow, and now I don't care what I wrote was on the right track or not, as long as I can submit. I had long waited for this time to arrive! His assignment was the stress-inducing agent that had made me suffer for more than half the sem and Woots~! I am going to get it off my brain from now~~~
***
Pea came to my house on Friday to study. She studied for her exams, while I wrecked my brain with that assignment mentioned above. Had a very cosy afternoon with her. Listening to Jay's CD together, play with pillow together, talked and laughed over any silly things we could think of. I simply love my gal.
Mom bought Mac's new Wasabi fillet for us for dinner. It's just normal fillet with wasabi cream. *I don't think it's really nice, I'd prefer the original one. Anyway, it's a new taste one can try if you're bored with the original Mac-stuff.
Pea stayed until midnight plus.. Didn't do much profitable stuff at the late hours, cos we were trying to rap with Jay Chou in my room. 魔术先生 very nice~~ Pea was busy squeezing the seiran sai's deflated water balloon's water out into people's feet, and pillow's face.. and Seed was learning how to sing jay's song~ Nice way to spend Friday night... accompanied pea to the bus-stop soon after.. and I noticed night time can be very misty as well..

Yesterday after tuition, meet up Avs at Dhoby Gaut, as we were going to watch 20th Century Boys. Avs got some coupons that we can exchange for movie tickets for free, so we utilised it on 20CB.
BUT! 20CB is.... SUCK-y.
I seriously find no plot in the story la! Maybe those who had seen the manga before could have a wee bit of understanding. The movie lasted for 2.5 hrs.. and I felt like attending lecture.. Avs and me fell asleep. So, in view of sitting in for a lecture-styled movie, I changed my intention of watching the movie to enjoying the scenes of Japan instead. When they told a story about certain part, I looked at the other details instead.. When they shoot a scene in the supermarket, I looked at the things they were selling instead.. You know, you need to do these sort of things to keep yourself entertained.
and through out the movie.. this was wholly repeated for hell lot of times:
"けんーじー。。。。一緒に遊びましょう。。。。。" (Ken-ji-.... isshoni asobimashou~) in the iconic sing-song tune.
and the story took 2.5 hours to end abruptly.
I think the movie had not done justice to the manga. The story just doesn't flow. There are some good points about the movie though, its CG effects..
Maybe if I have more time and more money, I may consider watching its part II and III.
After the movie, Avs brought me to Central's "GoJapan" Matsuri event. There was a small exhibition that introduces people to the exotic places of Japan.. Avs was pretty happy collecting the brochures and stuff, cos he's going to Japan this december!! To ski!! To spend Christmas & New year!! So Good!! Can see his passion for jap, cos the people who were mending the booths are some Japanese native aunties, and he even strike up a jap conversation with them, asking them stuff about Japan.
There were some Jap singing competition and those were mostly "视觉系"-live band performance. So, you also get to see a lot of cosplayers smoking their face up and rock the stage. Saw Superband II's 异世界's role singer among the audience.. Anw, the performance was not bad~
There was one band with a female lead singer, her hair was styled like KH's Sora, and when the song starts, she was doing some demure japanese-fan dance.. Suddenly, and I mean SUDDENLY, she started hopping around the stage with crazy rock music and growled like a wild cat, for like 1 minute before the singing starts. Wow. But anw, emo-substance really wows me.
Took some pics during the transitions..
Avs and seed~
After the singing competition, we decided to stroll around the river before we move on to dinner.
Went to Liang Court's Meidiya and Kinokuniya.. Saw many cute organizers! But all bloody expensive la! Would you spend $20 for a very slim/small but pretty organizer?
Almost dinner time, and as Avs knew Central pretty well, he brought me to a shop known as "Marutama Ra-men".. and here, it's so authentically japanese that the staff, the menu and most of the customers were Japanese as well. Avs was "sugoi" in ordering our food in Jap! I wouldnt have the courage to do that!
Anw, this is the Ramen that we ate.. It's super delicious~!!
and it's only $2 more expensive than Ajisen, but it's so so so much more nicer.
The egg was an "onsen egg".. (温泉蛋).. so it's specially sweet and soft.
Had a filling and nice dinner~
As I wanted to buy a snack that wasn't sold in Meidiya, Avs brought me to a jap snack shop "Yamakawa Super" and my snack was sold there!!

Went out to stroll along the river again.. and ya, Clarke quay can boast its night scenery.
It was Saturday night, so the whole street was full of music, people, tourists, noise etc...
and.. when we reached the bridge, I dared Avs to sing. (since he said he likes to sing) XD
I was pretty amazed with him when he sang a Jap song "Flower" from a band known as L'Arc-en-Ciel. Nice~~
Went home.. and Avs offered to accompany me to Dhoby Gaut to Marina Bay to City Hall before he took his train back to Bedok.. He even sent a message to make sure I'm home safely.. Hmmm........................................
very nice of him :)

Happy Wed
Jay's album was released yesterday~!
It looks surprisingly different.. Looks like some FF/WarCraft-fantasied theme..
Isn't this album about magicians..? or horoscope??
Anw, the main theme/quote of the album is this:
"眼睛看到的不一定是真的 讓音樂變幻無窮 讓夢想一一成真"
The new, or by right? correct title list:

So far, i love song #1, 2, 5, 9, 10, 11..
For the others, maybe i need more time to start to find it nice..

Got back my jap mid-term paper. I was below average!!
I need to accept the fact that spending so much time on Jap is not enough. sobx.
***
Tuesday, went to a piano concerto extravaganza in YST with babe, Al, BY, LP and WF.
Omg, music students are so pro la! The songs they played were real terrific. I was wondering, is this international standard alr? Like how "Kai" could attend the Chopin's competition in "the World of Kai" XD..
A very relaxing night~ anw, one of the pianist, named Tarin, I think he's HOT. His song was what I considered the best of the night too XD.

Wed afternoon, met up with Pea at CWP for lunch, cos i wanna collect my jay chou cd. But popular is not efficient as usual, so gotta wait after my lectures den can collect.. Had a cosy lunch with pea at the newly opened Ajisen. Not bad :) anw, the waiters there spoke terribly bad japanese..
Boring lessons... Pitiful Jap lesson... Less than half the class turned up.
Anw, met up with Avs after the jap lecture.
Ended my class earlier than him, so he gotta wait.
Went to Holland V to have dinner.. Usual hor-fun house. It was his first time to Holland V too. Ha, he seemed quite "dui" that he had never been to HV though he had been schooling in NUS for nearly 4 years XD
Had my usual fill of oil-chicken-horfun and he had curry horfun..
and! It was my first time realizing that Holland V was actually wirelessed! So, we got to surf the net using his lappy. Avs showed me that actually there is a Japanese version of facebook! Think the name is "Mixi.jp".. and after their recent establishment, a registered japanese mobile number is required to register.. so, dun think anyone out of japan can register now liao.. anw, Avs still got his account (since he registered ages ago), and i was rather amazed with how many jap friends he had! He used to work as a part-time jap tour guide in Singapore.
Had a rather pretty amazed moment exploring how a lappy can be so "multi-tasking". He had a whole screen of bookmarks, opened applications, source codes, etc.. Computer engineering students are very techno-savvy.. =_+
and I was pretty amazed with his collection of songs too..
Nodame OST, FF OST, Jay Chou albums, S.H.E, J-Pop, K-Pop, M-Pop, E-pop.. I think it's you name it, he has it..
After exploring his comp, we went to stroll around Holland V.. anw, it's kinda like my first time to walk along the streets of Holland V at night too.. looks so different.. I wanted to go to JE to collect my Jay chou cd, and Avs accompanied me along. Felt rather bad, cos he live in Bedok, and JE was really out of the way for him la.. Took bus back to clementi, and to JE... and collect my cd..
Avs is also a jay-chou fan, so both of us were drooling over the newly received CD XD. Got an extra poker card deck! not bad :D look a bit like the one i got in TW's Mr.J restaurant though.. We went to JE's mac to sit down n talk.. Quite happy to find someone to practice jap with.. Though Avs took until jap4, i think his standard is much higher than me.. I must jia you lo!!
Reached home rather late, and I'm so happy I finally get to hear Jay's songs :D
It looks surprisingly different.. Looks like some FF/WarCraft-fantasied theme..
Isn't this album about magicians..? or horoscope??Anw, the main theme/quote of the album is this:
"眼睛看到的不一定是真的 讓音樂變幻無窮 讓夢想一一成真"
The new, or by right? correct title list:

What is she doing?
Things had been happening so quickly.
So unexpectedly.
Today, I feel the first wave of "ridiculous-ness".
Am i really that timid? Am i really that shy?
I suddenly love arts canteen.
I'm not behaving like my usual self...
But i'm definitely looking forward to Wednesday..

Mirrocle World
A song from Ayumi Hamasaki: Mirrocle World

A very special song. NICE!
It starts with a classical symphonic melody. Then it gradually becomes a fast, rhythmic-paced of "suspense" music, and finally to a rather quick-paced rock-styled grandeur. [My opinion]
*Rumors said that this song was about Ayumi losing her left ear. Quite powerful and drammatic.
Tried to look for its MV on youtube, but it wasn't released.
Someone actually made it into a fan-vid of FFVII. Rather impressing.
I wonder how much time did he/she spend to synchronize the graphics with the music.
I rate it 4.5 stars~*

Did I imagine this kind of future?
Did you imagine this kind of future?
Did I wish for this kind of future?
Did you wish for this kind of future?
They ask me "The beginning or the end?"
"Did you give up Or are you holding on?"
"Are you shrugging off Or in despair?"
You tell me Just to go forward
Am I able to handle this kind of era?
Are you able to handle this kind of era?
Should I leave my body, or remain trapped inside it?
Should I pretend I can see it, or is it just not there anyway?
Should I fight, or raise the white flag?
I'm not going to run away like a victim
In this world, we have to slow down because we don't know everything
That way, we can continue down a cleared path
They ask me "The beginning or the end?"
"Did you give up Or are you holding on?"
"Are you shrugging off Or in despair?"
You tell me Just to go forward
Is it because I've become strong
That I can be without tears
Or ... ?

Something just happened today..
and surprisingly, I'm happy.
Have no idea how will the outcome be..
But, at least, it is positive..
School suddenly seems interesting :)

a week [again]~*
Most disappointing thing of the week:
Postponed release of Jay Chou's album.....
Had been looking forward to the release since last week and since I had a pretty bad and hectic week, his album was one thing I had been motivating myself with. Taa, and what a news to me when Edd told me on Thursday that it was postponed, when I had actually made plans to collect it after school that day.
A very good example of how unpredictable life is.
You can become so surprised with good, or bad, just so suddenly.
Anw, wasn't very dull with the days I had expected to be.
This week, I met a few people. These "New" friends I'd made, aren't really that wonderful or promising, but still, they had brought some happiness as well. I realized I had actually been very fond of talking with people, and that fondness had long been suppressed for some unknown reasons.
It's weekend again. Next week is week 9. Aloha to a new week of deadlines~

*Decided to edit what I had posted earlier on today.
Tam
Seed:“Ice-cream? 我join 你!”
于是,两个女生下了课就到Engine 的Mac 吃Sundae。这也是一种小小的享受~
和Tam聊了很多。其中,她的一句话让我印象深刻。
基于她的宗教,他们认为:“All changes are opportunities that lead to good things。”

My Friday~*
Had another Jap interview session yesterday during TC.
This time, we are interviewing/chatting with exchange students/staff from Japan!
I still remember we were like bringing primary school kids to tour lor [during jap3]..
Now is chatting with TAs from Japan.. =_=
Anw, for our class of 15 students, 6 natives had came.
1) Guy with curly hair but pretty big eyes.. i think he is a graduate student.
2) Man whom said he was a TA teaching Jap Studies in NUS.
3) A Maiden who was a TA in some course oso.
4) A man who looked in his thirties, a post-grad too
5) A lady who looked in her late twenties, a TA of jap 1.
6) A very pretty girl who is an exchange student whom came here to study American Literature.
Anw, the teacher asked the 6 to settle themselves into different parts of the class. Then the students will decide who they wanna talk to, and sit with them.
So, Tam and me went to sit with number 6. and I think she's HOT.
As a matter of fact, she IS a bee-attracting factor.
Before she came, I think 4 out of 6 guys from my class already were friends with her.
There, she's HOT rite?
Bee-"A" could not resist the urge when he saw us taking pics with her.
Jut jut jut. MEN.
Anw, because of this meeting session, I had another interview report added to my irritating list of deadlines.
So, because I was staying back in school for a concert, I brought my lappy along for the day.
*I must finish my interview report by today* , was what I told myself.
After TC class, moved on to science lib to meet Al. He studied his cell bio while I read my tutorial reading for next week's Beijing prof's tut.
NEXT WEEK IS GONNA BE SIEN............................
6pm tutorial classes...... sobx.
After studying, went for lunch.. den lecture...
and why is every friday's lecture so redundent?
I think most of the profs here can treat insomnia patients.
So sleep-inducing la!
The lecture ended quite early too, so Al went for his next class, and I went to YIH to meet Babe, HL and their friend YanL. They were having lunch there.
The girls had a nice cosy table for their studyin at the study room.
So, that's where I worked hard to finish my report.
Babe was studying for her korean test..
HL was studying for her forensic science test..
YanL was studyin for some math-thingy also..
Babe brought her cam along, so we cam-ed a bit too.

Near 3pm, YanL left, and Pea arrived, so the four of us continued our work...
Pea was starting her revision for her upcoming exam.
She has a recess MONTH!!! so good..
Near 4pm, Babe had to go to her korean class, so we left for Arts.
Babe went to her class and Pea and me went to the deck to continue our study.
The deck was so empty during a Friday's afternoon. so peaceful.. I LIKE.
Pea was studying for her marketing module and she was reading a particular page in YIH.
After a few hours, she was still at that same page. XD
I think she very no mood to study.
See.. she was not concentrating...
anw, cannot blame her. Cos it's Friday.
I bought a snack from YIH earlier on.
But all those diet-enthusiasts dun wanna share with me.
So, i ate myself. =|
We were waiting for Babe to finish her lesson.
A while later, HL arrived.. she was meeting her forensic friends for dinner..
Pea was very motivated by HL and babe in their successful encounters of shedding weight.
So, when babe arrived, she ordered very minute serving of food to fill her stomach for the night.
Quite a good scenery at where we sat.
There was a rainbow in the sky!
After the dinner.... we head on to UCC.
We were going to catch this Tapestry concert by the NUSPE~~
I seriously love PIANO.
Got our tix, and we still had an hour ahead before the concert started. So, we went to the NUS museums.
A lot of very huge paintings and sculptures..
i think their theme was something pertaining to SEA cultures..
pea~
me~

wat r we doing? XD
As the museums are closing at 7.30pm, we headed out..
and so we went to YST music conservatory..
outside...
babe n me..
pea n babe..
with babe again..
pea..
anw, i just realized there's a pub in NUS!
next time can ask a few friends to hang out there after the exams!
seemed a very nice place to chill out..
pea suddenly wanna be sexy..
because it's night time you see.. XD
Other pics...

At YST, there also have a concert.. i tink is piano with flute.. as there was some live casting outside, we got to see the performance a bit from the TV outside the theatre. Quite nice!
Still some time ahead, we went into their library. OMG! I fell in love with that place instantly!!!
It houses so many music scores!! and it is such a conducive place to study!! and the seats there are so comfy!!!! Babe had commented that the place was so perfect, one thing it lacks was just a grand piano as decoration. Good. I found one new place to study~!
Anw, the concert was almost starting.. So we head back to UCC. and the place was nearly full house.
On the stage, there's two grand pianos!!
Most of the songs performed were duets.. that's why. Anyway, my first time witnessing an 8-hands performance!!! and that song was my favorite!

Slavonic Dance in C Minor Op.46 No.7 (Antonin Dvorak)
So, i tried to look for that song.. this song was actually a symphonic performance..
Listen here~!
and for piano arrangement, only duet performance.. I wondered if the 8-hands performance was their own improvisation..
You can see how they play on the piano here.. [Duet though...]
Very nice hor? XD
Imagine that song with eight hands!!!
