Last Exam Period

Finally, it's starting to rain these days.
I appreciate the wind blowing in my face.
I miss windy days!!

Neeways, every exam period, as usual, i was hooked into a particular something when I shouldn't have.

Facebook's Restaurant City.
The game's layout is like "The Sims". You can decorate the whole restaurant with whatever you like. The thing about the game is to be a restaurant owner. You will have several cooks, and some waiters, and cleaners, and you have people coming to your restaurant to eat.
One good thing about this game is that you have to be there, but you don't have to be there.
Meaning, you just log in, you can increase ur experience points. Just rmbr to clean ur trash, feed ur staff occasionally and you're done.

I believe when the exams are over, this passion will cease.

Since it's BETA, can try out a bit, and hopefully there are more things to come in the full version.

Had my first paper yesterday. At 5pm. I hate evening papers.

I wrote until my hands pain la! I hate two hours of writing... And, i don't like to study for exams.

征兆

今早一起床，就看到愤怒的天空。

天空好像生气了。
上半空灰沉，下半空盘旋着一卷一卷的乌云，
放射着刺眼的亮光，暗里透亮，感觉很不舒服。

最近的气候也更是奇怪。
忽冷忽热，一会儿停滞的热气可以刮起一震旋风。
闷热的空气实在让人喘不过气。

不知是我多心了吗？
我觉得很“静”。

周围没有鸟叫声，汽车的引擎声也像似遥远，听不清楚。

这样的“宁静”就好像“世界末日”片里，有坏事逼近时的沉默。

2012年就快到了，最近报章也常常预测3年后的大灾难。
不管到时是否会有所谓的大灾难，
我觉得，地球已托人类的福，患上了难以治愈的绝症。

迫不得已的窘境

在迫不得已的情况下，我收了多一个Tutee。

他是我表弟。

经过母亲和阿姨的“强制性”请求，只好答应了。

该怎么说？
中学生就是会很叛逆，幼稚。

说话不算话，不守时，满脑子只想着和女生谈恋爱。

会迟到一个小时，因为说要陪女朋友和女朋友的妈妈购物，不好意思早走。
怕赶不及时间，还向女朋友借钱搭德士来到我家。
教导他的时候，他偏想睡觉。
休息3分钟，第一件事就是拿起手机打给女朋友。
课完了，下回几时再上课，也不能决定。

中学生交女朋友好像比成年人还要忙，还要费心思。
到底值得吗？

身为表姐，我无法好好“教导”他。
因为终究是亲戚。
如果是不熟悉的孩子，我应该比较会“开口”吧。
如果我们不相识，他也应该不会对我那么随便吧。

偏偏是亲戚的孩子，唯有“有苦难言”之感。

也相信接下来还会有更多难题出现。

看到阿姨为了顾及表弟的学业，总是苦口婆心的劝导，
还被表弟“回敬了”一堆“三字经”，
也真难想象现在的父母该怎么当。

These reading days...

Had my last day of school on Friday.

I didn't really feel anything sad about it, maybe I have had a rather hectic sem, which makes me feel like leaving all these hassles as quickly as possible. And somehow, in a little part of me, it tells me that I'm not going to leave school forever.

Still, it was the last day of school, and also, the last day that Vin n me shared the same school and our last day as students. Tink we will not get this chance in the future again. Still have the exams around the corner though...

I was very privileged to be invited to Vin's FYP presentation. ^^ It was the first time I see an fyp presentation, and though it's totally foreign to me, and i cannot understand any part of it, sitting through the presentation for an hr has gained me quite some experience. Conclusion: It was very difficult!! Vin was bombed with quite a lot of questions, but he managed to pull it through. I wonder if I will be able to do it, if I was the one presenting. Anw, claps to Vin ^^

After the presentation, we decided to head to the Central for dinner. So, we went to Marutama Ramen's again. I is love the ramen there la!! Very nice!!

After the dinner, walked around a bit, and we went to Mediya to get some snacks.

Like what the picture on the box cover shows, it is double sided, one side white chocolate, one side cookie, panda-shaped. Very cute!!

On Saturday, it was my dearest mei mei's 21st birthday party, and Vin, Pea and me was invited. Heard that it will be a vegetarian buffet, so meat lovers-us, cant bear with no meat at all during dinner, we met up earlier to have some light dinner at KFC.

The party was held at HometeamNS chalet at bukitbatok.. and it was our first time there.

Very special indeed, even the BBQ there are all vegetarian food. I love the curry veggies.

SH cut her hair short!! She looks almost like how she look back then in sec sch. Met a few sec sch peeps there as well.

This is the birthday cake. I think it's strawberry shortcake, 3kg. Very nice rite! so pink, i likes!! Even in the layers of the cake, it is filled with freshly cut strawberries..

On Sunday, it was a long missed family outing. Mom wanted to go Bugis bai guanyin, so the family decided to go as well, and will go to people's park, den have dinner at ichiban.

Long time nv take pictures during family outings, so I snapped like a tourist when I was in Bugis. That day super sunny.

Went to have "Katong Laksa" at Bugis, and i think it's very very very delicious! Vin, we can go eat this next time ^^

As usual, Katong Laksas only use spoon to eat. No chopsticks.

After praying, went on to People's Park at chinatown to buy some stuff. Mom bought her sewing materials, and I bought a luggage.. For the upcoming Malacca and Taiwan trip. As plaza singapura has the nearest ichiban outlet, we went there for dinner.

To our utmost disappointment, the salmon fish is out of stock!! The staff at the entrance asked us if we mind, i mind, but my parents they dun mind, so no choice but we went in..

Dad ordered this set as usual, got a very huge piece of unagi, tempura prawns, sweet chicken chunks, saba fish and Maguro (Tuna, usually it's salmon though)..

So filling. When we are closed to vomitting from all these food, we overheard a manager telling the staff there that salmon has jus arrived, so now customers can order the salmon items.

WALAO!! SUEH LA!!

Still, really enjoyed the outing with family ^^

On Monday, I went for the MOE interview.

Everything seemed so familiar before, as I had been there once after my O-Levels. This time, there are three interviewers. I believed one of them is some chinese related professor, one is a sch principal, and one is HR officer.

The chinese related uncle kept bombing me qns about chinese history. But this is not my field la! End up, realli had difficulty answering his questions. The old man like quite sad that now chinese graduates duno about contemporary china's news..

Anw, the interview went off quite well, i hoped. Now shall just wait for the results. After the interview, went to Vin's house to study, and went to the new shopping centre Tampines 1 Mall. Very huge shopping centre, with a lot of jap related shops. I like ^^ Suddenly very envy those ppl living at tampines.

Went back to school today to submit my last assignment, shun bian study. Met up early with vin to have Mac breakfast. Mac now become very ex liao, ever since they change their food picture to a black background.

Vin suddenly "plays" with food. Haha. An attempt to make the words "R (heart) V"

Had a tiring day of studying. Went to West coast plaza in the evenings to get myself a snack at the cold storage.

Last Week of Sch

It's my Last Week of School.

I finally finished my Jap lessons.
Jap 1 to Jap 6.
So many memories...

I felt rather empty now that,
something that I have been pursuing for three years,
is coming to an end.

After my last jap test,
vin and me went to Holland V for dinner.

Best things in life..

My boyfriend,

Today,
I went for a long missed SOM lecture.
It was the last lecture as well.

So, the girls took some pics in the toilet.

I will definitely miss every bit of how
we just don't seem to pay attention during lecture.
and our usual gossips everytime after lecture,
in the toilet.

Pea's dad was hospitalized.
So, I went to pay a visit to her dad, at TTSH.
Hope her father can get well soon..

After that, went to Novena Sq for lunch,
and to buy SH's 21st Bday present.

终点的逼近

今天上完了“修辞学”的课。

什么是修辞学？如果你听过“比喻、借代、概念隐喻、移就、双关、飞白、对偶、排比、层递、拟声、仿拟、拟人、婉曲、避讳等”，就应该知道吧。

修辞就是让你了解怎么“玩字”，把“写作技巧”发挥得淋漓尽致。懂得怎么修辞，看文学作品的时候，便能更进一步地了解作者所要表达的意思。

上完了这一课，觉得获益不浅。
至少让我在毕业之前可以好好地了解到我所学的东西可以致用。(>.<)

终于，我的校园生活只剩一个星期。
在这之前，将会度过一个地狱般的周末。

星期一有两分作业得呈交。还有Jap End-term test!

会努力撑下去的。。

又是懒懒的一天

今天也决定翘课，宁可呆在家里赶作业。

有些时候，真的很佩服那些可以和别人一起做作业的人。不是说我不会，但是，我还蛮不了解怎么让双方达成一种心平气和的共识。总是会为了对方的一些绊脚行为而纳闷了一下。人与人之间的互动，真的藏有一种奥妙的“频率”。“频率”不合，双方打的拍子再响亮，也媾合不出一种融洽。也偏偏我的频率没有那么广泛，总是搞成一种挫挫难行的局面。

最近已经对政府教职员的工作心寒了。已经申请了4，5次，还是一点消息也没有。今年真的和去年的情况很不一样。话虽如此，这也是让我可以尝试其他工作的机会。也许在私人公司上班也别有一番风味。题外话：周杰伦也不是曾经在餐厅打过工吗？人总是要有一点“白手起家”的挫折。

昨天上了最后一个Jap 6 Lecture。好快！！！我就这样把NUS的Japanese modules都拿完了！三年一转眼就过了。感慨感慨。。

今天也要努力！！

It's spring now in many four-seasoned countries. While we are sitting here by the rain and humidity doing nothing but mug, people are appreciating nature elsewhere. It's full bloom everywhere, even in Taiwan.. and I believe 花莲 is very pretty now with all the 花海 that you can think of.

I want to see 花海la.. I wanna take pictures like this:

So nice right? Even dogs look happy in this kind of environment.

By the time we can travel, it would have turned summer, and most sceneries will be no difference as Singapore....

馬鹿の文句

今日二つ発表することになって、ずっとクラスがあって、食事時間もなくて、もう嫌だと思った。

疲れすぎるので、いい加減で馬鹿な間違いがやってしまった。彼にこの間違いをされて、疚しい感じがあった。どれだけ謝って、ずいぶん悪い感じがする。

エイプリルフールで、先生が皆に驚いて、もう心臓発作で死んちゃった。「来週は二つレポートを出さなきゃ」と言われたんだ。本当に、それは可笑しくないと思う。

あと２週間で、学生の生活が終われるものの、すごく大変で、スゴスゴと過ごしている。
