Post-party-syndrome sinks in.

Assignment...”

只能。。加油。。。。

Recess week's Little Tweets~

Pretty enjoyed myself in this one week break.

Pea, Al and me went to Kuishibo's on Tuesday night.

I had been "nagging and nagging" that I wanna eat Kuishinbo every now and then, so I finally got my way during recess break.

Babe had something on that day, so she could not join us..

Kuishinbo~
I finally got to eat my fav Salmon Sashimi, unlimited supply.
Al and me were super salmon fans. I think we two almost eat up a salmon fish XD

Al was showing "no mercy" to the fish XD
Pea was the "crab-skinner" of the day XD
She kept preparing the crab for us to eat~
Other great food we gobbled:

Chawanmushi~
Crab.. do u call this hokkaido crab? o.O
but it's DELICIOUS!
Taco Balls~
Chicken, fish, Unagi~
Tempura fried stuff~
Blessed with food~ \(>v<)/ I love this view~! Whole stretch of dessert for you to choose XD
Our harvest~
Suddenly, there's this special dessert thing, so we went to grab it,
and we brought back two very cute ice-cream~
We were so amazed with these ice-cream, that we start to do "creative" things with it.The food there was great. Though there are some food which would have taste better if it was served hot. Had a very satisfying fill of salmon XD Will definitely go back there again~!

On Thursday, met up with Pea to go to Holland V for a nasi lemak lunch.
After the lunch, went to shop around, and I bought my first colored contact lenses~!

Color: Grey
I think green and blue is quite nice too. Maybe next time can try..
After that, went back to school for a Waseda High School Student's
After this meeting, we were supposed to write quite a long report though... =_=

Anw, my group members are PH and Andy.
and our group's Japanese students are Mika, Yoko, Yuri and Erika~
I love their uniform XD
We chat a bit with them here and there, and we moved on to UCC's NUS Museum.
With Mika~ outside UCC.Since they're here, I suggested they took a pic with NUS' famous "I WAS HERE" icon XD
A closer shot of the four of them...
Glad to make four jap frens. Hopefully, we can organize a trip somewhere again, after our exams.

After the meeting, met up with Al for a quick dinner in school.
My first time having such a dinner o.O

Went on to JE's Pop to pre-order Jay's album. I think I missed 2 or 3 of his albums already, but why suddenly wanna buy again?
Maybe because of this Rubik's cube...
Today~~
Went to Bugis' "Masquerade" shop with the secondary gang.
We were going to rent clothes for HM's Out-of-place-themed party.

Took a rather long time to decide what to wear.. for some of us XD
Anw, each set of costume rental is $35 for each student, for a period of three days, including props!
Each of us had decided on a country's theme!

After the renting, we made our way to Shaw House for lunch.
Along the way, the photo craze started.. and so we were there by the road, with our props.
Candid shot of everyone preparing...
and I suddenly feel like a tourist in Singapore.
I even took shots of this:
HM said it will be abolished soon.
Went to the "Creation" cafe that TY brought us to last time..
Wonder how the party will turn out tomorrow.. Hmm o.O

Anw, I haven finish studyin for my Tues' test!
SIEN!!!!!!!!!!!
Dun feel like caring............................
Friends who are preparing for their test, jia you too ne~!

I love Office 2007

Thanks to MY, my days in dealing with assignments have become more interesting.

The power of Office 2007~!

First, my Jap blog essay assignment.
I was amazed to see that the teacher can actually comment on my work like this:

Ha, ok la, I know I am sua-ku, as if Office 2003 don't have, but I had been sincerely using Office 2000 all these while.

Can you understand how interesting work has now become?
I am starting to love editing my essays and typing a document.

As for my comple med poster project..
Due to the fact that I had jus reformatted my comp, I had not installed any Photoshop applications in it. Waiting for CS3~
I experimented, and is sort of amazed with what Powerpoint 2000 cannot provide:

And for my most headache assignment.. Beijing prof's hideous essay...
I had managed to motivate myself to continue typing....
So far.. 2900+ words? =_=

More to work on~~~

Jay Chou's new song~! It's nice! Listen, listen :D

Was reading Twilight these few days with close-to-lightning speed.

Anw, almost finishing the story, and I suddenly recalled in this year's December, the Twilight movie will be showing.

I was wondering how will the real life Edward and Bella look like. So I googled.

While reading the story, I pictured someone like the cast who played Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter's Order of the Phoenix movie.

and...

I'm Right!

Robert Pattinson [that Cedric Diggory] will be acting as Edward as well~

and Bella looks cute~

Seiran Sai

Woke up pretty early today to meet the girls to Waseda's Seiran Sai. It is an annual event hosted by the Waseda Senior high school students to the public. Had always wanted to visit a Japanese 校祭 and here's my chance :D

Morning at Clementi~
Mac for breakfast.. Pea said it's a new location for this Mac. I'm like so ignorant la, didn't even know there was a Mac here despite the fact that I passed by there almost every school day.

Pea had McFlurry for breakfast.

Finally, Erv arrived, and we head to Waseda. It was like 9 something in the morning but there were already a handful of enthusiasts like us who had started the school tour.

We were given a very pretty booklet. Included the school map and programme stuff. I was rather fascinated with the cover. It was an illustration done by their student, I supposed.
Student-drawn posters were pasted all around the school~
I think they took a lot of effort to decorate their school.
The school building. Though it was pretty small , the corridors were bustling with students and activities.

Some pretty posters~
First stop.. we went to a room where we could play four kinds of games.
My first try on dart.
Second: Throwing cardboard "pizzas/face" into holes..
Third: Guess what we're doing.
Quite funny actually. There were holes in these cardboard walls and "moles" are supposed to pop out and we have to "punch" them.

A room showcasing their school work..
Went to a Summer-themed classroom.. and the guys are CUTE!
Cute, as in, they are cuter and prettier than girls la.....
I am impressed with their courage to doll up themselves..
In their classroom, we played..
Although it was a simple common game, but just look at their decoration. It's so nicely decorated!
Even their blackboard makes a nice background.

And, there's this water-balloon-hooking game.
Pea was holding the tissue-paper made hook.
Almost lunch time, we moved on to the Orchid Cafe.
and here, they served "Provenance" cakes!
Went on to watch a movie casted by some of the students themselves..
and went to find Naomi.
Her class was acting "Hana Yori Dango".. and I like their drawing..

There was also a 茶道 classroom, so we went in to have a try... :D

We were each given an "Okashi".. [
and the tea! Had always wanted to try the tea..Procedure:
Japanese girl kneels and pass you the sweet, and you both bow.
You eat the sweet.
Japanese girl prepares the tea.
Japanese girl kneels and pass you the tea, and you both bow again.
You take the chawan [茶碗] into your hand and turn in clockwise direction, twice, den drink.

Funny thing is, the whole procedure, you are "kneeling" in a painful and uncomfortable posture. I tink like 20 ppl cannot stand up when the session ends. XD

Saw a lot of familiar faces. Walker-sensei, and some of our jap course mates.
With XC, Alv and Erv.
Toured their school..
They have this beautiful swimming pool..
and a wonderful air-conditioned dormitory..
Visited their library.. Their books look so chim.. but i like :D
There's also some live band performances..
At the entrance..
I love their bazaar. Manga (in Jap and in good condition) and CDs/VCDs only sell for $1.. Clothings in $2.. and Decorative stuff for $0.50.. Why can so cheap? XD

If there's a chance, will definitely go again :)
