It's hard to get along with him.
I'm starting to wonder what is his purpose at home.
I don't understand how one can just shield one another without really caring what's right and wrong, for the sake of love.
I know I am naive and it is very hurting and harsh to say these words, but I really find it hard to talk sense into them when they just won't listen.
I sometimes hope parents can be more realistic and not always make unreasonable expectations.

First Day of Job
Thanks to all the dear friends whom have sms-ed me and asked me about my First Day.
Well, First Day, not as bad as one could imagine:
Being sent to some unknown school with no one you know and you are suddenly given a class with no idea about the syllabus and you are to act like you know in front a bunch of 40 plus children and you start to teach.
This haven come yet. XD
My First Day: Spend an hour in NIA (for some reasons, i decided to rename nie as nia from now on) to collect my welcome gift and goodies and collect my nia card (somethin like matric card), and Go Home.
Yes. I left nia at 11am. Den i met vin at city hall to go orchard and watch movie and eat good food.
and today, i can stay at home. Cos there's no "event" required.
Think 22-6 is the day my pay starts rolling.
Every scary things should start next week ba: 29-6. When school reopens.
and I just only know that i won't be posted to a school yet, cos i was to go for some content upgrading course. I dunno how is it like. But most prob like taking modules in special sem. Some days you have lectures, some days you don't. You have tutorial slots, you have exams. But you got paid la :)
Many many admin stuff this week, and many many admin errors received. I couldn't find my name in the group listings for the course i was to attend this thursday, and my birthdate was inaccurately shown in the account (and i could not edit it at all), and i wasn't notified that i was to go to content upgrading yet.

27th May 2009 (Taiwan Trip II Day 3)
早起，就是为了搭7:40am的客运到“剑湖山”。
好不容易起床，吃了饭店提供的早餐，却赫然发现外头正下着倾盆大雨！啊啊。。
剑湖山是个室外游乐园，若下了一整天的雨，是什么都玩不成的。。。
于是，作了个痛苦的决定：不去剑湖山，改去“九族文化村”。
到九族的下一个班车是12点，所以，时间还早，当然是回到床上多睡一会儿。。
12点多，外头的大雨依然下着。。到了仁友客运候车区，看到了很多年轻人像我们一样，撑着雨伞。上了车，坐在我们后面的年轻友党说了我们熟悉的话：“Wa, this bus like very small.” “Yalor, like not zhai one..”
新加坡人。
车上播着杨丞林的歌，司机是个年轻小伙子。。
上了快速公路，疲倦的我们在摇晃的小巴里呼呼地睡着了。
醒来，（过了几乎一个小时？）杨丞林的歌还播着，但周围的景色已经有微微云烟飘着，我们来到山上了！快要到九族了。。
只有Vin和我下车。其他人应该是到日月潭吧，因为日月潭就在附近，也比较出名。
九族文化村，好偏僻。整座山像空无一人。也许在这500m之内没有其他的人。
过了大门，就是一片停车场，同样地，空无一人。
在细雨中撑着伞，走了五分钟，终于到了第一个“景点”： 欧式大花园。
这个花园好大好大啊！一大片修剪整齐的草原，远处是一栋欧式豪宅，在花园的四处角落也有一个钟塔。花园的中央也有个大喷水池，大约12个石像环绕着。
真的是很大。同样的，人烟稀少。
花园里虽然没有什么人（除了一些员工以外），到处播放着游乐园的音乐，让人不会觉得可怕。
走完了花园，我们终于来到了九族文化村的大门。这里的大门让我想起吴宗宪在这里主持的某个节目里的画面。
这里聚集了很多室内游乐园。其中一个比较大型的在“Aladdin”的广场里面。
里面有旋转木马、海盗船、小型云霄飞车等。出乎预料，这里的人特别多，而且都是小学与中学生。他们都穿着校服，台湾人真好，可以全校一起到这种游乐园玩。
和Vin一起尝试了许多小孩们的玩意，但是我还是会怕得尖叫。。（特别是海盗船）
肚子饿了，也在这里随便地解决了一餐。我们决定餐后去坐缆车。九族真的很大，整个文化村里头有那么多设施，就连缆车也是交通工具之一。在缆车里，高处使我们更能够看到这里的辽阔。原来这里也有恐怖的悬脚云霄飞车！除此之外，也有个“Mega Drop”，“Wet Roller Coaster”之类的东西。。
从一头搭缆车到另一头也要花上十分钟之久吧。
下车后，更偏僻，更空无一人。这里有“日月潭缆车”正在施工中。
相信以后这里开放后，会有更多人来到这里吧。
这里有个族舞在表演中。他们的竹竿舞跳得很整齐。
观看的人却也是寥寥无几。表演结束了，我们便搭缆车回去，想要看看那个悬脚云霄飞车。
“要不要坐？”Vin问我，我问Vin，就这样，问来问去地走进去。很怕，但是很想尝试。
工作人员看我们两个那么踌躇不前，便打开门让我们进去了。“都来这里了，就试试看嘛。” 每一秒都在后悔着。
第一次，整辆云霄飞车没有人，只有我们两位“勇者”。心情还没镇定，云霄飞车就开动了。As usual，云霄飞车都会先往上，而且会上得很久，让你彻底地后悔。我就这样两脚没有着地地被夹着屁股上去了。到了最高处，噩梦开始了。
我只记得我拼命地喊。Vin也喊得很凄惨。好像有转了很多圈，我的头好像无法抬起来，我的脚好像被乱甩，我好像被周围的水喷得很湿。也许已经过了2分钟，恐怖的经历才结束。脚都软了。
工作人员给了我们纸巾，让我们擦干湿了的头发，手脚。
但是，好玩。:)
离开了那里，我们去了樱花花园，（季节不对，没有樱花）。
时间不早了，我们便回到巴士站等巴士来接我们。
淋了好多雨，我们便回到旅店洗澡，再走路到一中街。（步行大约10分钟）
一中街的美食比较少，但是还是很喜欢这个：“鸡肉铁板面”。
吃完，我们便到处走走，而且我又来到了这个“神圣的文具店”。
这个文具店的大门不明显，必须下楼梯，转左，才看得到。不容易找，但是这里却是一个天堂！
这里的文具都以批发价出售，琳琅满目。在这里买了很多便宜的笔、手机包、钱包、手记本、印章、卡片。（品均价格不超过SGD2）
也在这里买了衣服，Vin也买了日语书籍。:)
总结：
虽然下雨，失去了到剑湖山的机会，很可惜，但是，到了九族文化村也是一个很不错的经验。
这里真的好大好大，好像整个圣淘沙那么大。
只要换了入门票大约SGD35，里面的设施都是免费使用。包括游乐园、缆车、云霄飞车等。
地那么大，欧式花园也那么漂亮，但是就是很少人！
有种独享美好的感觉。
现在回想，看着当时的照片，其实有点诡异。好像看到了MoMo的东西。。。
不说了，不说了！
晚上到了一中街，之前也来过。基本上，没有什么改变。
从新光顾了之前光顾的店，还是一样便宜，达成了我要回来台湾“多买回那些便宜货”的目的。
有钱花，花钱其实很快乐。

the F-word
Had some thoughts recently.
There are many types of friends.
There are some friends whom will be there for you, anytime, and you know it's alright not to meet up everytime, cos they will always be there. When you finally meet up, there's no awkwardness, and you enjoy every moment.
There are some friends whom are once very good with you, and you guys seemed to lose contact after that, and when you finally meet up, there seemed to be a large gap, an emptiness, but you still consider them as good friends cos you thought you two are still good friends.
Some friends, you never consider them very close, but whenever you meet up, you guys can click well, and things go smooth, and it's enjoyable to have them around.
Some friends, you rather not meet, and you try to avoid meeting them again, although you still see them as some kind of friends.
According to the definitions above, I think there's really some problem with the definition of friends. It's too vague.
Can I call some "friends" that I have, that they are "just some people I know"? Cos, imo, the term "Friend" should refer to someone whom one likes to be around with, and you two likes each other's company, and there's no awkwardnesses, and no backstabs, and no bad feelings.
It just sounds so weird when you regard a friend whom dun show you signs of friendliness.
Another thought,
does very very good friends took each other for granted that they become not as good anymore?
It seems that some things have changed.. and it's hard to tell your good friend, "Why aren't we as good as last time?"
The more closer we get, it seems that the lesser we need to meet up.
*sigh.

Several outings, and when I have the time to myself, I'll read.
Manga, of course. I finally complete my buy (#1 to #21 and to be continued) of Nodame Cantabile manga. First, this manga is only published by "TongLi" (www.tongli.com.tw), not chuangyi, so it's quite ex to get it in singapore. Bought my #1-#15 from taiwan, and due to concerns for the luggage, I decide to get #16-21 some other day.
TW sold each book at around SGD4.50 (NT90), but comics connection in sg sold it at SGD8.60! Damn ex la! But i found myself so lucky when i visited vivo's PageOne book store. There, sells only SGD5.90 to 6.80, but what's more, now they are having promotion! Buy any 2 chinese books and you will get one chinese book free! Whatever the price, the cheapest among the three books, will be the free book. (Eg, you buy 3 books, each SGD20, you will only have to pay SGD40 for the 3 books) AND! you don't have to be a member. :D
So, i bought my #16 to #21 there. and each book only around SGD4 (after the fabulous discount)!! It's even cheaper than when u bought it from Taiwan. So, if you have any chinese books you wanna get, can go there and buy! The promotion ends around end of July. I love this kind of discount. I think popular and kino dun have such great discounts before. I love PageOne! Now thinking of what more books to buy before the offer ends :)
Have been writing the third entry for the taiwan trip, but i am getting distracted by the Bakery game i was playing recently.. Very fun lei...

26th May 2009 (Taiwan Trip II Day 2)
第二天一早，没有睡好的我很高兴白天的来临。出国的时候，总是要学习怎么去熟悉一些不熟悉的事物。无法安睡的我，证明了我还没调适好心情来熟悉这段旅程。
今天约好TY十点半在台北火车捷运站见面。一半是为了跟她拿当日要用到的“到台中”火车票，另一半是要和她聚一聚，把从新加坡带过去的礼物交给她。
终于见面了。TY的样子还是没变，但是台湾的语调却强了许多。看到TY的穿着打扮，和说话方式，已经融入了台湾的社会的样子，替她开心。
久违的相逢！我们拖着重重的行李，来到了一个面线馆子吃早餐聊。搭火车的时间快到了，TY便陪我们到火车站入口。告别后，Vin和我便往台中出发了。
这次的铁路便当“不错吃”哦！
虽然我不爱吃猪肉，但是便当里的排骨还是挺香的。出国就是要尽量尝试一些新的东西。话虽如此，我还是很抗拒吃芋头和地瓜。XD
坐了两个小时的火车，终于到了台中。台中其实和上一次来的时候比较，没有什么改变。这一次，入住的旅店是“博奇大饭店”。我已经不敢再为了省钱而随便挑选旅店了。既然要过夜，就必须有些讲究。得到了上一次“可怕”的经历过后，我认为旅店一定要选择那些比较明亮的，照得到阳光，有窗口的房间，还有，房间的格式必须看得顺眼。也许我很迷信，但是我还是坚信要有“舒服的感觉”，就要有这样的房间。
快乐地“丢下行李”，我们便到楼下询问人，怎么到逢甲夜市。之前也去过逢甲，印象中是个满街都是小吃的地方。根据Vin的调查，逢甲夜市也是台湾最大的夜市？
来到了公共巴士站，看指示看得一头雾水。
到底要搭哪一辆客运（巴士）才能到逢甲？更好笑的是，等了5分钟，很多客运经过，但是没有一辆停下来。我们好像必须走出去举手挥巴士的样子。于是，决定问一个坐在客运里“发呆”的伯伯，我们应该怎么搭巴士。（笑）
“刚刚才来了一辆，你怎么不叫他停车呢？”伯伯说道。说完，就看伯伯走到就快要到马路中央的地方，大大地挥了手给“168号”的巴士。但是，巴士却在centre lane，可见它本来没有要来这个巴士的意思。那个巴士作了惊险的一弯，才停在巴士站。>~< 十分感谢帮我们叫车的伯伯。 半个小时后，我们到了逢甲夜市。
我记得第一间我逛的店是Watson's！他们那里好像叫“屈臣式”，不知道为什么。在这里买了很多便宜的化妆品~
来到这里，很有购物的mood。我和Vin也在这里买了很多衣服。
今晚的晚餐，就是到夜市里想吃什么，就吃什么~
看到一条长长的人龙，卖的是“大肠包小肠”。我们就这样跟着排起来。等了几乎20分钟，终于买到了！
外面有一层糯米，包着一条蛮大的腊肠，腊肠里面也好像有一些什么。吃法挺特别。把包裹着大肠的纸转紧，就可以把大肠给推上来。是好吃的啊！
接着，看到有个摊位卖“炸菇”，而且菇类就有三种。价钱蛮便宜的，于是叫了一份。。。才发现好多啊！而且也很好很好吃。*幸福*
Vin没吃过“臭豆腐”，于是我们也叫了一小分。而没有我想象的那么臭，好吃！
就在这种快乐的时候，肚子开始喊“饱”了。。本来还想吃“炒面面包”的说。。 都吃不下了。。
只好逛一逛。。来到了便利商店，却突然看到一只看起来凶狠的Husky大摇大摆地走进店里来，让我们愣了一下。Husky没有管我们。他一直走到冷气饮食柜旁就躺了下来！而且一脸不屑！
这张照片是冒着生命危险偷拍的。店员竟然说这只狗不是他们养的！原来狗里也有“暴走族”。。
来到“鲜芋仙”，叫了冷冷的甜点。
好大份啊！新加坡是没有那么好康的事吧。
回酒店的时间也不早了，于是决定搭计程车回去。结果却上了“魔鬼”车。司机好像发生了什么不愉快的事，看了简讯后，就飚车飚个不停，还差点撞上行人与其他车辆好几次。车子好晃，让人好难受。他不要命，我还要命咯。
停了车后，车计的交代也不清不楚的，以为他给我多了钱，想好心告诉他，却被骂了：“NTXXX, 应该找你NTXXX，不对吗？！有错吗？！” 雷声轰轰的。他这样子不负责任的驾驶行为，迟早。。。。。。。。
那一晚，了解到台中的马路真的犹如虎口，交通规则是屁。
总结：
很快的，第二天就看到了台湾的另一面。
台中不像台北那么繁荣，东西也比较便宜，是购物天堂。
买了很多便宜的东西，要小心，钱很容易就花完了。
逢甲夜市很好逛，食物种类繁多，也很好吃！在台湾应该很少有这样的地方。
可惜逢甲有点远。。
台中的马路没有交通规则，每个人的驾驶技术好好，驾得那么快，怎么晃都可以闪过别人，大家应该去参加赛车比赛。

今天约好TY十点半在台北火车捷运站见面。一半是为了跟她拿当日要用到的“到台中”火车票，另一半是要和她聚一聚，把从新加坡带过去的礼物交给她。
终于见面了。TY的样子还是没变，但是台湾的语调却强了许多。看到TY的穿着打扮，和说话方式，已经融入了台湾的社会的样子，替她开心。久违的相逢！我们拖着重重的行李，来到了一个面线馆子吃早餐聊。搭火车的时间快到了，TY便陪我们到火车站入口。告别后，Vin和我便往台中出发了。
这次的铁路便当“不错吃”哦！
虽然我不爱吃猪肉，但是便当里的排骨还是挺香的。出国就是要尽量尝试一些新的东西。话虽如此，我还是很抗拒吃芋头和地瓜。XD坐了两个小时的火车，终于到了台中。台中其实和上一次来的时候比较，没有什么改变。这一次，入住的旅店是“博奇大饭店”。我已经不敢再为了省钱而随便挑选旅店了。既然要过夜，就必须有些讲究。得到了上一次“可怕”的经历过后，我认为旅店一定要选择那些比较明亮的，照得到阳光，有窗口的房间，还有，房间的格式必须看得顺眼。也许我很迷信，但是我还是坚信要有“舒服的感觉”，就要有这样的房间。
快乐地“丢下行李”，我们便到楼下询问人，怎么到逢甲夜市。之前也去过逢甲，印象中是个满街都是小吃的地方。根据Vin的调查，逢甲夜市也是台湾最大的夜市？
来到了公共巴士站，看指示看得一头雾水。
到底要搭哪一辆客运（巴士）才能到逢甲？更好笑的是，等了5分钟，很多客运经过，但是没有一辆停下来。我们好像必须走出去举手挥巴士的样子。于是，决定问一个坐在客运里“发呆”的伯伯，我们应该怎么搭巴士。（笑）“刚刚才来了一辆，你怎么不叫他停车呢？”伯伯说道。说完，就看伯伯走到就快要到马路中央的地方，大大地挥了手给“168号”的巴士。但是，巴士却在centre lane，可见它本来没有要来这个巴士的意思。那个巴士作了惊险的一弯，才停在巴士站。>~< 十分感谢帮我们叫车的伯伯。 半个小时后，我们到了逢甲夜市。
我记得第一间我逛的店是Watson's！他们那里好像叫“屈臣式”，不知道为什么。在这里买了很多便宜的化妆品~来到这里，很有购物的mood。我和Vin也在这里买了很多衣服。
今晚的晚餐，就是到夜市里想吃什么，就吃什么~
看到一条长长的人龙，卖的是“大肠包小肠”。我们就这样跟着排起来。等了几乎20分钟，终于买到了！
外面有一层糯米，包着一条蛮大的腊肠，腊肠里面也好像有一些什么。吃法挺特别。把包裹着大肠的纸转紧，就可以把大肠给推上来。是好吃的啊！接着，看到有个摊位卖“炸菇”，而且菇类就有三种。价钱蛮便宜的，于是叫了一份。。。才发现好多啊！而且也很好很好吃。*幸福*
Vin没吃过“臭豆腐”，于是我们也叫了一小分。而没有我想象的那么臭，好吃！
就在这种快乐的时候，肚子开始喊“饱”了。。本来还想吃“炒面面包”的说。。 都吃不下了。。只好逛一逛。。来到了便利商店，却突然看到一只看起来凶狠的Husky大摇大摆地走进店里来，让我们愣了一下。Husky没有管我们。他一直走到冷气饮食柜旁就躺了下来！而且一脸不屑！
这张照片是冒着生命危险偷拍的。店员竟然说这只狗不是他们养的！原来狗里也有“暴走族”。。来到“鲜芋仙”，叫了冷冷的甜点。
好大份啊！新加坡是没有那么好康的事吧。回酒店的时间也不早了，于是决定搭计程车回去。结果却上了“魔鬼”车。司机好像发生了什么不愉快的事，看了简讯后，就飚车飚个不停，还差点撞上行人与其他车辆好几次。车子好晃，让人好难受。他不要命，我还要命咯。
停了车后，车计的交代也不清不楚的，以为他给我多了钱，想好心告诉他，却被骂了：“NTXXX, 应该找你NTXXX，不对吗？！有错吗？！” 雷声轰轰的。他这样子不负责任的驾驶行为，迟早。。。。。。。。
那一晚，了解到台中的马路真的犹如虎口，交通规则是屁。
总结：
很快的，第二天就看到了台湾的另一面。
台中不像台北那么繁荣，东西也比较便宜，是购物天堂。
买了很多便宜的东西，要小心，钱很容易就花完了。
